A record prize fund for the National Dairy Show on Oct 20 was announced this week.
Generous sponsorship has enabled organisers to offer €30,000 in prize money, to mark the National Dairy Show’s 30th anniversary.
The highest prize fund ever offered at an Irish dairy show is expected to attract all the best Holstein and Jersey cows in Ireland to the event in the Green Glens Arena, Millstreet, Co Cork.
Highlights include the Pfizer Animal Health Farm Forum and the supreme show championship sponsored by the Irish Examiner.
