Australia
Just enough rain
The past week saw more cold and dry conditions, with rainfall again limited to the coastal fringes of southern Australia.
Showers largely fell as alpine snow in the mountain regions of NSW, Victoria and Tasmania, with some parts recording up to 50mm.
Looking forward, a cold front will result in further showers in the south, while south easterly winds over Queensland are likely to see patchy showers through the north.
