Farmers and bankers
AIB have asked farmers and others involved in the agricultural sector who are going through, or anticipate, cashflow difficulties caused by the unseasonal weather conditions to contact their bank as early as possible.
The bank is concerned that the current problems may leave many farm and agri businesses facing cash flow difficulties.
AIB have stated that the medium-to-long term outlook for the sector remains promising and that early engagement with the bank will facilitate appropriate solutions.
